Permanent Photo Booth Installations in New York

Most venues bring a photo booth in once a year. A permanent DigiBooths installation lives in your space and runs every day you are open — no attendant, no load-in, no rental invoice. Powered by DigiConnect.

Where this stands right now

We are building the permanent installation program, and we are talking to venues before the first units go out.

The photo experience itself is not theoretical — it is the same DigiBooths platform running at real New York events every week, and everything on this page that is not marked coming soon runs on our booths today. What is new is the permanent form factor: a booth that stays in your room, wired in, running on its own.

The hardware design and prototypes are in progress. We are not putting a date on it, and we would rather say that plainly than promise a month we cannot stand behind. What we are doing now is getting the first rooms lined up — so tell us about your space and you are in the conversation from the start.

How a permanent installation works

You are not buying equipment. DigiBooths installs the booth in your space, keeps it running, and manages it remotely. Your guests walk up and use it the way they would use a jukebox — nobody has to run it, and nothing has to be booked.

Every photo carries your branding, and the guests who share it put your venue in front of their friends with your name on the picture. In a city where the room next door is also competing for the same night out, that is reach you are not buying.

The guest experience

This is the part that already works. Every item here runs on DigiBooths booths at live New York events today — the permanent unit inherits it.

Your branding on every photo

Overlays, start screen and backdrop are yours, so every picture that leaves the booth is a picture of your venue.

Instant sharing

Guests send their photos to themselves by text, email or QR, and your name goes with every one.

Printing on site

Guests leave holding something physical — 2x6 strips or 4x6 prints with your branding on them.

Opt-in guest capture

Guests who choose to share their details become contacts you own — people who already had a good night in your room.

Your own gallery

Every capture lands in one place you can post from, send from, or hand to whoever runs your social accounts.

Keeps working if the network drops

Guests keep shooting and keep getting prints during an outage. Captures are held on the booth and sync when the connection comes back.

What we are building for permanent rooms

A booth that lives somewhere permanently needs things an event booth never did — mainly, the ability to change what it is doing without anyone coming to your venue. These are in development and are not available yet.

Coming soon

The permanent booth itself

A booth built to be installed and left there, rather than cased and carried in through a service entrance. Design and prototypes are in progress.

Coming soon

Remote management

Change what your installed booth is doing from the DigiConnect dashboard — no site visit, no one in your room during service hours.

Coming soon

Scheduled design changes

Put your overlays on a calendar. A holiday look, a seasonal look, a different design for event nights, a sponsor takeover for one week — set once and it changes itself.

Coming soon

Per-campaign branding

Run a brand partnership or a promotion on the same installed hardware without touching the booth, then have the room go back to normal on its own.

Coming soon

Pay-per-use and donation modes

For rooms where the booth should pay directly rather than market — the usual choice for museums, attractions and non-profits.

Coming soon

Usage reporting

How often your booth is used, when, and what guests do with the photos afterwards.

Coming soon

Automatic supply reordering

Print media reordered before you run out, rather than after somebody notices.

Coming soon

Multi-location monitoring

For groups with more than one room — the health of every installed booth on one screen.

Where a permanent booth makes sense in New York

Rooms that are open whether or not anyone booked anything, with steady foot traffic and no particular reason for any of it to end up online with the venue's name attached: bars, lounges and entertainment venues, museums and galleries, stadiums and arenas, attractions and observation decks, hotels, rooftops, bowling and competitive-socialising venues, corporate lobbies and office amenity floors, and university student centers.

Three ways it earns its footprint

Floor space in New York is the most expensive thing you own, so a permanent booth has to be more than entertainment. It is a marketing surface that happens to be fun.

1

Marketing with no cost per impression

Every share is your room, tagged, in a feed you could not buy your way into — posted by someone who chose to post it.

2

Private events you can actually close

"The booth is already in the room" removes a line item and an objection from every buyout and private-event quote you write.

3

A guest list that builds itself

Opt-in capture turns strangers who had a good night into people you can invite back.

Powered by DigiConnect

The booth is the part you see. What makes a permanent installation work is the platform behind it — DigiConnect, the software we built to run DigiBooths itself.

Your galleries, your branding and your opt-in guest list all live there, and it is where the remote management and scheduled design changes above are being built. It is the same system that runs our own events every week — which is why a question about your installation gets an answer rather than a support ticket.

One company, both halves: DigiBooths builds, installs and maintains the hardware. DigiConnect runs it.

Where we install

The five boroughs first. A permanent booth needs a team that can actually get to it on short notice, so we place installations where we can service them properly — if you are outside the city, ask, and we will tell you honestly whether we can support it well.

How to get in line

Tell us about your space. We will come and walk it with you — thirty minutes, ideally near dusk so we can see what the room does as the light changes. We look at where a booth would go, how guests would reach it, and where power and network are.

You get a placement and a plan for your room, and a straight answer about where the program actually stands. There is no cost and nothing to commit to. Venues we have walked go to the front of the queue when units are ready.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

Can we get one installed right now?

Not yet. The permanent unit is in design and prototyping, and we are not putting a date on it until we can stand behind one. What we are doing now is walking rooms and lining up the first installations, so the venues that talk to us early are the ones we go to first. In the meantime we can absolutely bring a booth to your events.

Who owns the equipment?

We do. It is installed in your room and maintained by us, which is why upkeep is not something you file a ticket about — it is our problem to solve.

Does someone have to run the booth?

No. That is the whole point of installing one rather than renting one. Guests use it on their own, as part of the room.

Can we still use it for private events and buyouts?

Yes, and it makes those easier to sell. The booth is already there, so it stops being a rental line item on your quote and starts being a reason to book you.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Guests keep taking pictures and keep getting prints. Captures are held on the booth and sync when the connection returns — that already works on our booths today.

How much of this is actually built?

The guest experience is built and runs at live events every week — branding, sharing, printing, opt-in capture, galleries, and carrying on through a network outage. What is still in development is the permanent hardware itself and the remote-management side: scheduled design changes, per-campaign branding, usage reporting, supply reordering and multi-location monitoring. Anything on this page marked coming soon is not available yet, and we will tell you where each piece stands when we walk your room.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes, and we would encourage it. We run a booth at your next event, you watch how your own guests actually use it, and then we talk about putting one in permanently.
