Photo booths built for SoHo's activation crowd

SoHo isn't a wedding neighborhood first, and neither are we. This is the cast-iron loft district where fashion houses, DTC brands, and agencies run product launches, press previews, and VIP dinners under 16-foot windows and pressed-tin ceilings. DigiBooths NYC is a NYC-native company built around that work: corporate galas, brand activations, conferences, and university and alumni events come first, weddings second. We've delivered booths for teams at Bayer, Dior, Macy's, and Chick-fil-A, so we understand what a marketing lead needs, on-brand overlays, clean data capture, a step-and-repeat that photographs well, and a footprint that respects a designed room. When SoHo is the backdrop, the booth has to hold up to the address.

The right booth for the room

SoHo rooms vary wildly, so we match the booth to the space and the goal. For a gallery-style activation at LUME Studios on Broadway or a launch at Convene 555 Broadway inside the historic Scholastic Building, the 360 booth is the centerpiece, elevated platform, slow-motion capture, and instantly shareable clips that spread the event across social. In a polished suite like The Gallery at Soho Grand Hotel, the glam booth delivers editorial black-and-white portraits that flatter a VIP guest list. When throughput matters, a conference reception or a busy activation floor, the mirror booth keeps a printed line moving fast. For a step-and-repeat at NoMo SoHo or a lead-capture setup on a showroom floor, the open-air selfie booth pairs a branded backdrop with email and opt-in capture. We also bring green screen, GIF, and light-painting when a campaign calls for something the feed hasn't seen.

Cast-iron logistics, handled

The hardest part of a SoHo event is rarely the party, it's getting into the building. These are landmark cast-iron structures with narrow freight elevators, tight loading windows, and building management that wants paperwork before your crew touches the dock. We're COI-ready for Class A buildings at $1M and $2M limits, with the venue and building management named as additional insured, issued well ahead of load-in so you're never chasing a certificate the morning of. We coordinate freight-elevator and loading-dock timing, work with union labor where the venue requires it, and stage equipment from nearby garages so we can roll in on schedule instead of circling Broadway looking for a spot. On a street where curb access is scarce and dock windows are strict, that logistics discipline is what keeps a launch on time.

Events we power in SoHo

Most of our SoHo calendar is corporate and brand-driven: product launches and press previews in cast-iron lofts, brand activations and pop-ups with lead capture, conference and summit receptions, VIP dinners, agency and holiday galas, and university and alumni gatherings hosted downtown. A fashion or beauty brand might pair a glam booth with green-screen backdrops for a press day; a tech company might run a 360 booth at a conference after-party at LUME Studios; a retailer might set an open-air booth with a branded step-and-repeat for a showroom opening. We do handle the occasional SoHo wedding or milestone celebration at a boutique hotel, and we're glad to, but the heart of what we do here is helping brands and organizations turn a room into content and captured leads.

FAQ

Good questions, straight answers.

Can you provide a COI for a SoHo cast-iron building?

Yes. We issue certificates of insurance for Class A and landmark buildings at $1M and $2M limits, with both the venue and building management named as additional insured. We turn these around ahead of load-in so your building manager has everything on file before our crew arrives.

Which SoHo venues do you work with?

We regularly serve venues across SoHo and its borders, including Soho Grand Hotel and its Gallery space, Convene 555 Broadway inside the historic Scholastic Building, LUME Studios on Broadway, NoMo SoHo on Crosby Street, and cast-iron loft spaces like The Farm SoHo. We work in most galleries, showrooms, and boutique hotels in the neighborhood, and can adapt to raw white-box spaces too.

What booth works best for a brand activation in SoHo?

For social reach, the 360 booth is the standout in a gallery or loft. For lead capture at a pop-up or showroom, the open-air selfie booth with a branded step-and-repeat and email opt-in is the workhorse. For high-volume conference receptions, the mirror booth keeps a printed line moving. We tailor overlays, backdrops, and data capture to your campaign.

How do you handle freight elevators and loading docks in SoHo?

We coordinate freight-elevator and loading-dock timing directly with venue and building management, work with union labor where required, and stage equipment from nearby garages so we arrive on your scheduled load-in window. On SoHo's tight streets with limited curb access, that planning is what keeps setup on time.

Do you only do corporate events, or weddings too?

Our focus in SoHo is corporate and brand work, galas, launches, activations, conferences, VIP dinners, and university and alumni events. We do also serve weddings and private milestone celebrations at SoHo's boutique hotels, but corporate and activation events are our core here.
